LEGISREPORTS NG – The Federal Government has announced  signing of ceasefire deal with Jama’atu Ahlul Sunnah Lidda’awati wal Jihad, popularly known as Boko Haram, just as the United Kingdom on Monday sent a motion to parliament to blaclistthe sect as a Global Banned Terrorist Group.

The eventual  decision of the terrorist sect to succumb to a ceasefire is coming on the eve of  the Muslim Holy month due to commence Tuesday throughout the country after an attack that left thirty students dead in Yobe State, an incident which was widely condemned as “barbaric”.

LEGISREPORTS recall that President Goodluck Jonathan while reacting to the brutal killings of the students had told Boko Haram that they would “burn in hell.”The minister of Special Duties, Alhaji Tanimu Turaki announced the ceasefire agreement on Radio France International Hausa services monitored in Kano Monday afternoon.

Let Nigeria still keep praying, this blog is committed to keeping you informed and with information comes awareness and with awareness we believe our hearts will be wakened to the need which is found in the gap left in the heart of many northerners, victims of Boko Haram unslaught.

“Our children fallen, their tear soaked daggers, have eaten the suckling’s tender heart, but here we are a broken and bent nation, cowered by the terrors of gory death. We wail to heaven’s gate for Peace to reign”
